Guardian Media & Entertainment Projection Mapping Park

The new destination will celebrate big-screen hits with projection mapping and immersive attractions

Guardian Media & Entertainment, a leading company that creates innovative attractions and theme parks, has been appointed by the VELS Group of Chennai to help design and bring to fruition a new film-based theme park in Bangalore, India.

The city will become home to a range of freshly-designed rides and attractions based on popular movie themes. Some of the proposed projects include a blockbuster-themed façade projection mapping show synchronised with fountains and lasers, a dinosaur ride, a Titanic experience, and a visitor participation show that explores the film production process.

Guardian Media & Entertainment will help to develop the full-scale amusement park with a further water park already confirmed for the development. Further shows and exhibits will make their debut in a scheduled second phase.

“Many attractions created in this park will be of the first of its kind created anywhere in Asia, and will be the biggest in India. It is a great project for GME as all the creations will get fantastic visibility as the park is based in a buzzing city like Bangalore,” says a representative for Guardian Media Entertainment.

The Indian company focuses on the creation of immersive experiences, attractions, shows, parks and museums. Guardian Media Entertainment has over a decade’s experience in designing, theming, VFX and media creation, on-site integration and technology manufacturing.

“Films have always been an integral part of the Indian people, and that is how the idea of creating a film-themed park popped up. We started working on this project during the pandemic, and I was scouting for a team who can associate with us in developing this dream.

“From our first call, I found Guardian Media & Entertainment to be so determined and enthusiastic in shaping up this project at a global scale. It has been more than a year of travel together, and we are getting closer to creating one of the finest film parks in India.”
