Jora Entertainment Creates Halloween Haunted House at Djurs Sommerland

News

Jora Entertainment has designed and produced a haunted house for the Danish amusement park Djurs Sommerland.  The ‘HekseSkolen’ Haunted House takes visitors to a haunted old school in an interactive experience for the whole family with real-life witches and magic glasses.

The HekseSkolen is Djurs Sommerland’s first haunted house attraction.  The theme park has seen 25% more visitors during this Halloween than in 2012.

Jora Entertainment has become a specialist in haunted attractions.  In addition to the haunted house at Djurs Sommerland, the company from Almere has also created three distinct haunted houses for Europa-Park – The ‘Take Away’, ‘The Villa’ and ‘The Crypt’.

Jora Entertainment’s Director Marjolein van de Stolpe says, “The fact that we, as a Dutch company, are going to be working for one of the biggest parks in Denmark has naturally given us all an enormous boost. It’s truly apparent that European parks appreciate our speciality, the developing of themed Haunted Houses.”
