Audio-visual specialist, Kraftwerk Living Technologies, has been honoured with an AV Award in the “Best Entertainment Venue of the Year” category for the 5D Castle Theatre in China.
This is the Austrian company’s third award for the record-breaking project which opened in June 2015 at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom.
The theatre, a Guinness World Record holder twice over for the largest permanent projection screen and the largest stereoscopic 3D projection, seats 1000 people with a throughput of close to 3000 every hour.
“We aimed at creating a visitor attraction that surpasses any existing experience by not only its size, but also its quality, following the credo: Go big and be unforgettable, ” explained Christian Hofer, Managing Partner and Technical Director at Kraftwerk Living Technologies.
“And together with an incredibly visionary client, great partners and suppliers as well as an amazing Kraftwerk Living Technologies team, we managed to do so.”
This latest award follows an InAVation Award for “Most InAVative International Project” in February and an InstallAward for “Best Visitor Attraction Project” in June.
