Walt Disney World Resort has announced a new Star Wars-inspired entertainment opening in December at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Launching just weeks ahead of the Dec 18th movie premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the attraction promises plenty of new experiences plus reimagined elements of the Studios’ existing Star Wars attractions.
Central to the entertainment is the new Star Wars Launch Bay, a multi-sensory hub where fans can interact with favourite Star Wars characters, tour galleries showcasing memorabilia as well as replicas of large-scale artifacts from the new movie.
The ever popular Star Tours attraction has been also been reimagined to involve characters and adventures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Other highlights include First Order stormtroopers patrolling the park, the Cantina featuring a Holochess table plus the “Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular’’ fireworks display.
The theming even extends to the selection of food and beverages on offer such as Blue Milk Panna Cotta, Padawan Limeade, BB-8 Lemon and Butter Cream cupcake and a Han Solo Souvenir Kid’s Meal.
The new Star Wars entertainment opens on December 1st at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
