Picsolve Seeks Top Talent for New Technology Development Division in Derby

Leading image capture company, Picsolve, is launching a recruitment drive for its brand new technology development division in Derby, UK.

The company is looking to create a next generation platform that will help cement its market leadership position.

CEO of Picsolve, Alan Wright, described Derby as a ‘burgeoning hot spot’ for technology innovation.

“We aim to take advantage of this local talent by moving our entire technology provision to the region, ” he said. “As a global leader in the attractions industry, Picsolve represents a fantastic opportunity for developers. Picsolve currently employs over 2, 500 staff members around the world, capturing over 250 million photos a year. Key partners in the UK include Thorpe Park, Alton Towers and Madame Tussauds. The company continues to push boundaries with its award-winning image capture offerings. These include ‘Green Screen’, rollercoaster ride and specialist event photography at theme parks, waterparks, tourist attractions and holiday resorts globally.

Despite a significant global presence with offices in Orlando, Hong Kong and Dubai, Picsolve has always maintained a prominent presence in Derby. In fact, 12% of its workforce are already employed in the city in hi-tech roles.
