Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue has now officially opened at Walt Disney World Resort’s Epcot. The restaurant is inspired by The Muppets’ Sam Eagle.
Located in the American Adventure pavilion, the fast-casual restaurant is named after The Muppets’ disciplined and patriotic Sam Eagle (via Disney Parks Blog).
Regal Eagle Smokehouse serves BBQ and brews, and hosts the competition known as ‘Sam’s Centennial Cook-Off: A Salute to All Cook-Offs but Mostly Barbecue’.
The restaurant’s décor will boast Sam Eagle’s famous face, which also makes an appearance on the entrance sign and on a poster promoting the barbecue competition.
Serving craft brews and ciders from across the US

The menu boasts dishes including Kansas City smoked chicken, Memphis dry-rub pork ribs, North Carolina chopped smoked pork butt, and a Texas beef brisket sandwich.
Lighter options include the Power Greens Salad as well as the plant-based BBQ Jackfruit Burger served on garlic toast.
The outdoor bar and patio serves craft brews and ciders from across the US, wines from the west coast, Coca-Cola fountain beverages and regional cocktails, such as Tennessee Lemonade and Berry Punch.
In addition, there will be a merchandise cart located nearby, selling exclusive products inspired by Sam Eagle.

Meanwhile, the iconic Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park is set to undergo a major, magical transformation.
The enhancements start in the coming weeks and run through summer. Shows including ‘Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire’ and ‘Happily Ever After’ will continue.
Disney also teased the new marquee for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The ride debuts on March 4 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the first Disney ride-through attraction featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse, is also launching at Disneyland in California in 2022.
