Peter Cochrane
Peter is a futurist, entrepreneur, business and engineering advisor to international industries and governments. An internationally sought after guru, Peter is renowned for his out of the box thinking. He foresaw the rise of eWorking, email 
and text messaging, the bursting of the dotcom bubble and the increasing use and growth of mobile devices and communication.
Peter also writes blogs, articles and books on technology, business and managing rapid change: Top Tech Trends That Will Change 2014, Huffington Post.
With over 40 years of technology and operational experience, Peter has been involved in the creation and transformation of corporations. His BT career saw him progress to CTO with teams engaged in optical fibre, fixed and mobile networks, artificial life and healthcare, through to war gaming, eCommerce, and business modelling.
Peter has also spent time as an educator and was appointed Professor for the Public Understanding of Science & Technology @ Bristol. He has received the Queen's Award for Innovation & Export as well as numerous Honorary Doctorates and was awarded an OBE for his contribution to international communications.

Aleks presents BBC Radio 4’s award-winning science series The Digital Human. She has hosted The Guardian’s Tech Weekly podcast since its start in 2007.
She also presented the Emmy and Bafta winning BBC 2 series Virtual Revolution in 2010, about the social history of the World Wide Web.
Aleks writes for The Guardian and Observer newspapers. Her writing also appears in Nature, BBC Technology, New Statesman, MIT Technology Review and The Telegraph.
In her new book, Untangling the Web: What the Internet is Doing to You, Aleks looks at the psychology research behind the claims about the positive and negative forces of the digital age.
