SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment, an industry leader in immersive cinematic attractions, will launch a full year of celebrations at IAAPA Expo 2022 next week, as it marks three decades of creating cinematic attractions and innovative immersive products.
Over the course of the year, the firm will unveil three new experiential attractions, starting with its Immersion Theater.
New Immersive Theater revealed
SimEx-Iwerks’ new scalable Immersion Theater has been designed to deliver a next-level, fully immersive experience from start to finish. It features a compelling exterior alongside quality IP and interactive components, such as AR and photo opportunities.
“Cinematic experiences engage the audience like no other. Our technology stimulates the senses, allowing guests to get lost in the story,” says Sean McAllister, vice president of attractions development at SimEx-Iwerks. “Our newest attractions immerse guests into familiar worlds from major brands in a magical and memorable way.”
The Immersion Theater will also include cutting-edge special effects, lighting and audio technologies as well as new motion-based seats designed by SimEx-Iwerks. It is designed to engage guests through a series of deliberately choreographed high-impact moments.
“We are excited to celebrate our 30th year doing what we do best, developing new attractions,” says Michael Needham, CEO at SimEx-Iwerks.
The company will be at booth #2249 during IAAPA Expo 2022, which takes place from 14 – 18 November at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando, Florida. For more information about IAAPA Expo 2022, read our roundup of the best educational sessions, events and exhibitors at this year’s event.
