Blooloop is delighted to announce details of its one day UK conference, blooloopLIVErpool, on the 29th June 2016.

UK Trade and Investment LogoThis year we are honoured to have been selected by the UKTI to provide the experience economy content for the International Festival of Business (IFB) in Liverpool. 

The event, which focuses on the visitor attractions industry, provides an unparalleled opportunity to share the visions and strategies of senior industry figures who are shaping the industry.

The day will be of interest to attractions across various sectors of the industry including theme parks, waterparks, museums, FECs, themed entertainments, and suppliers to these sectors.

We're delighted to have Michael Mack, CEO Europa-Park, and Paul Moreton, Group Creative Director Merlin Entertainments, opening our day.  We will also be offering an overview of the UK attractions market with a focus on the North.  

Gateway Ticketing Systems UKEngagement – featuring Nick Gray (Museum Hack), sponsored by Gateway Ticketing Systems UK

Nick Gray, founder of New York subversive museum tour company Museum Hack will lead the session on Engagement by telling us how he learned to stop hating and start to love museums.  Samrien Hussain and Ali Khan, founders of Tick Tock Unlock, will talk about the Escape Room boom. Other speakers yet tbc but this is shaping up to be a lively session.

Communication – featuring Robin Ince (Radio 4’s Infinite Monkey Cage)

Robin Ince, comedian and co-presenter of BBC Radio4's Infinite Monkey Cage, will lead our session on communication.  The Infinite Monkey Cage is a popular science comedy programme that deals with diverse scientific topics such as the concept of infinity, discussions about dark matter and the nature of reality which Robin co-hosts with Prof Brian Cox.  Joining Robin to discuss how to communicate complex ideas will be Sharon Redrobe – CEO Twycross Zoo,  Ron Allen – SVP Commerical Silvergate Media (owners of Peter Rabbit and the Octonauts) and other speakers tbc.  

Continuum attractionsNorthern Powerhouse Panel – sponsored by Continuum Attractions 

Our Northern Powerhouse Panel will discuss the vibrant attractions industry in the North.  Led by Continuum Attractions' CEO Juliana Delaney, and including Chester Zoo's MD Jamie Christon and Blackpool Pleasure Beach's Deputy Managing Director Nick Thompson, as well as other industry leaders, this not-to-be-missed session will offer unique insights into the strategies of the key players in the region.

Evening Networking Event
Studio 2 Parr Street Liverpool

Our evening party will be held at the Studio 2 Bar at the famous Parr Street Recording Studios with live music, food and drink supported by our platinum sponsor, Lappset Creative.

Entertainment will be provided by Made in Liverpool, resident Beatles tribute act at the Cavern Club.

dan pearlmanAs an add on to the conference package Chester Zoo are offering the chance for a VIP tour of their ground-breaking Islands exhibit on the evening of June 28th.

The tour includes transportation as well as a behind-the-scenes look at Islands and BBQ kindly provided by Chester Zoo.

This event is free to attend but places on the tour will be limited.  Booking details to be released shortly!
