Universal and the family of Kevin Rodriguez Zavala have reached a resolution following his death after riding a coaster at Epic Universe.
Zavala, 32, died after he became unresponsive while riding the Stardust Racers coaster on 17 September, authorities and park officials confirmed at the time.
The coaster was closed after the incident, reopening to the public on 4 October.
Now, attorneys representing Zavala's family have announced that an "amicable resolution" has been reached.

Civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump, on behalf of the family of Zavala, said in a statement: “The family of Kevin Rodriguez Zavala and Universal have reached an amicable resolution in this matter.
"The terms are confidential. The family is grateful for the community’s support and asks for privacy at this time."
News of a resolution comes just days after the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the Orange County Medical Examiner released their reports on Zavala's death.
Both determined that Zavala's death was accidental, and investigators from the Orange County Sheriff's Office found that Epic Universe staff followed all safety procedures and were not negligent.
Zavala's death determined accidental
The medical examiner for Orange and Osceola counties had already determined Zavala's death was the result of blunt-impact trauma.
In a letter to Universal Orlando team members dated 3 October, president Karen Irwin said: "Our comprehensive technical and operational review confirmed the ride systems functioned properly throughout the boarding process, the duration of the ride, and upon the ride vehicle’s return to the station, and our team members followed procedures throughout."
Irwin said the review was carried out alongside local officials, and that the State of Florida "observed the testing and reviewed the results".
She added, "In addition, the ride system manufacturer of record and an independent, third-party roller coaster engineering expert conducted their own on-site testing and validated our findings."

Stardust Racers is a dual-launch coaster reaching speeds of up to 62 mph and top heights of 133 feet across 5,000 feet of track.
The ride opened earlier this year as part of the new Epic Universe theme park, Universal Orlando's fourth gate.
