Coney Island Amusement Park’s Sunlite Pool is getting an upgrade in time for the 2017 summer season, as well as a new logo and tagline.

WCPO Cincinnati reports that Rob Schutter, President of the Park, has revealed that construction has already begun on the new features, which will include a Caribbean-themed bath house, bar and a new entrance. The Pool is also being given a new name: the Sunlite Water Adventure Area.

The iconic park is also getting a rebrand, which will include a brand new logo and tagline,  “come out and play.”

The last big upgrade to Sunlite was in 1991, which welcomed the current bath house and concrete that surrounds the pool. In 2016 a 16,000 square foot Typhoon Tower splash area was added, which is also included in the rebranding plans.

The revamp and rebranding are part of a five year programme which also includes an update of Coney Island’s website.
