The Cordish Companies have put forward plans for a mega $2.2bn entertainment complex - 'Live! Resorts Madrid'. The 300 acrepiazza development in the Torres de la Alameda sector of Madridwould be Spain's first Integrated Entertainment Resort Destination.

The development will include hotels, retail, office space and dining as well as"destination spas and lagoon style pools", gaming and entertainmentand live performance venues featuring "Broadway-style theaters, Comedy Clubs, bowling, live music venues and movie theatres".
The Live! District is forecast to bring in675, 000 new visitors to Madrid in its first year and create over 56, 000 jobs.
The proposal needs the consent of the Madrid Regional Autonomous Government.
