Guests will see Anna and Elsa’s igloo, as well as statuettes of Olaf and his Snowgie friends.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is reopening at Walt Disney World with a selection of new Frozen-themed attractions on 13 November.

The new Frozen features are part of Tike’s Peak, a polar-themed wonderland for young guests with small waterslides and aquatic activities.

They include Anna and Elsa’s igloo, while statuettes of Olaf and his Snowgie pals can be found in the wading pool. The park is also serving new Frozen-themed F&B.

The water park will also offer an enhanced holiday atmosphere, according to a release. Festive treats, snowfall and a tropical Santa are available through 31 December.

Blizzard Beach boasts various attractions, from waterslides to rapids and pools. Summit Plummet is one of the tallest and fastest freefall body slides, while Teamboat Springs is one of the world’s longest group whitewater raft adventures.

Toboggan Racers is a unique attraction where guests compete on a mat, Cross Country Creek is a scenic lazy river, and Runoff Rapids boasts three inner-tube waterslides.

Typhoon Lagoon closing for refurbishment

On the same date that Blizzard Beach reopens, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will close for refurbishment. In January, the park welcomed visitors for the first time in nearly two years after closing in response to the pandemic.

Inspired by a tropical paradise, Typhoon Lagoon features waterslides including Crush ‘n’ Gusher and Storm Slides. Attractions also include a lazy river called Castaway Creek, family-friendly water rides, and America’s largest outdoor wave pool.

Disney World’s nighttime spectacular ‘Fantasmic!’ is also returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on 3 November. The show was paused in early 2020 due to Covid-19.
