ADubai-based company's Australian investment unithas announced plans for a waterpark as part of its AUS$400 million ($297.3 million) "active lifestyle" destination project on the Sunshine Coast.

Sanad Capital, owned byDubai conglomerate Najibi Group, announcedits collaborationwith waterpark design leaderWhiteWater West to develop Australia'slargest wave pool, set to create waves up to nine feet high.


The project also promisesthe world’s largest interactive aqua play structure, (2, 000 people at atime) and will featurethe country's first slide-boarding area, adding a unique gaming- style interactive element to the waterpark.
