EPIC Entertainment Group, the producer of themed entertainment, live events, and immersive environments, has announced an expansion of its ongoing partnership with a popular botanic garden in Florida, in the US.
Following its work managing the “Festival of Chocolate” at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden last month, EPIC Entertainment Group has been appointed to manage and produce this year’s entertainment program, which will comprise over thirty events at the Miami attraction.
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden was established in 1938 as a non-profit organisation. Comprising 83 acres, the venue is committed to exploring, illustrating and conserving tropical plants and is recognised as a premier leader in conservation.
As a self-described company of “visionaries and curator of big ideas”, EPIC began its newly expanded partnership with the return of Festival of Chocolate in late January. The two-day event attracted over seven thousand guests, being the first major festival held at the property since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Being responsible for Fairchild’s events calendar, EPIC will also oversee day-to-day operations for the Tropical Garden, and continue to search for opportunities to expand upon the current offerings.
EPIC Entertainment Group managing partner Charity Hill says “We are grateful for our partnership with Fairchild over the last few years and honoured to expand our collaborative efforts to effectively impact the vision and mission of The Garden through events. We look forward to layering in new engaging experiences for Fairchild’s members and guests while expanding some of the annual favourites.”
Packed year of events
In a programme which the company describes as “certain to be epic”, Fairchild visitors can look forward to popular returning yearly festivals such as the Garden D’Amore concert on Valentine’s Day (14 February), Orchids in Bloom Festival (12 – 13 March) and the Mango Festival (23 – 24 July).
The deal will see the debut of new events including Nature Connects (30 April – 5 September) and Father’s Day Bacon & BBQ Festival (19 June), amongst others to be announced.
EPIC’s Steve Sheldon concludes “Having the opportunity to expand our partnership with the Garden is exciting and humbling. We are grateful for the confidence Fairchild has in our efforts to produce high-quality entertainment events and manage a seamless daily operation for their beloved members and guests.”
