Manchester City F.C. is considering expanding the Etihad Stadium to offer a fan experience and entertainment and leisure destination.
The club, which is now undertaking feasibility studies, will invite fans and the local community to share their priorities and feedback on the concepts in early 2023.
Ahead of these formal consultations, fans and the community can share what they would like to see at the stadium by clicking here.
Manchester City is exploring options to expand the North Stand, which would increase the capacity of the Etihad Stadium to more than 60,000.

Additionally, the club is planning an expanded and covered ‘City Square’ fan zone, home to food and drink outlets, a new club shop and museum, and an onsite hotel.
Per a news release, a key component of the feasibility studies is exploring options to introduce new entertainment experiences on matchday and non-matchday.
Manchester City said the project is “building on the club’s ongoing commitment to invest in and develop its facilities for the benefit of its fans and visitors”.
Since 2008, City Football Group has overseen investments of more than £700 million into the Etihad Campus and East Manchester.
New entertainment experiences
AY-PE, an AV, digital software and multimedia design studio for museums, heritage sites and attractions, has been chosen to work on the Rangers Football Club Museum.
Elsewhere, Dubai Parks and Resorts is launching the world’s first Real Madrid theme park, featuring football-themed rides, attractions and experiences.
The football club has signed an exclusive partnership with Dubai Holding Entertainment to open the new park in late 2023.
“We are thrilled to add this ambitious project to Dubai’s thriving entertainment and leisure offer,” said Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment.
