Hosted by Reverse the Red, the first ever World Species Congress is happening in May 2024. Bringing together agencies, groups and organisations committed in the recovery efforts of species, the virtual event will connect 100,000 individuals across the world. Through innovative and collaborative support, attendants will share commitments and creative action towards the conservation of endangered species.

Successfully producing roadmaps for success, the World Species Congress works closely with WAZA to offer a variety of opportunities for attendees to learn from experts around the world. Showcasing tools and strategies to create a healthier planet, the event aims to amplify and accelerate calls to action.

Through conservation efforts and the creation of critical connections, the World Species Congress invites governments, aquariums, zoos, botanical gardens and NGO’s to come together and support the next steps of conservation impact. With access to tools, assessments, and strategies, attendees are given the opportunity to form new connections with like minded individuals from regions around the globe.
