Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is opening a new experience with Disney and Pixar characters presented as topiaries for the first time in the country.
Organised in collaboration with Disney and supported by Singapore’s tourism board, ‘Disney Garden of Wonder’ opens at the Floral Fantasy botanical garden on 1 December and runs until 31 March 2025.
The new attraction is inspired by Walt Disney World’s annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival in Florida, where Disney characters are transformed into horticultural displays.

It includes eight topiary sets featuring Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Steamboat Willie, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, and Ariel and Flounder from The Little Mermaid.
Pixar characters transformed into living installations include Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc., Carl Fredricksen, Russell and Dug from Up, Buzz Lightyear, Woody and the aliens from Toy Story.
In addition to the colourful topiaries, Gardens by the Bay is offering a Disney-themed pop-up store selling exclusive merchandise.
Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is a horticultural attraction housing plant species in temperate climates as well as tropical forests and habitats. It’s known for its award-winning cooled conservatories and iconic ‘Supertrees’.
‘Disney Garden of Wonder’
Gardens by the Bay recently offered an Avatar experience in partnership with Disney. By the end of its run in the Cloud Forest, the attraction had welcomed a total of 2.63 million visitors.
Felix Loh, CEO of Gardens by the Bay, said earlier this year: “The event has not only augmented the visitor experience, but also added a new dimension to the Cloud Forest.
“We look forward to curating other immersive and educational offerings for visitors as we refresh our offerings in Cloud Forest.”
