n-gage.io, a specialist in creating attractions management software for the visitor attractions and hospitality industries, is the headline sponsor of The British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) 2025 conference.
The BIAZA Annual Conference 2025 opened yesterday at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park in Suffolk, UK, and continues to 19 June. This event welcomes representatives from the zoo and aquarium community across Britain and Ireland.
Enhancing the visitor experience
n-gage.io is attending and sponsoring the BIAZA Annual Conference, as the company continues to expand its client list of zoos, wildlife and safari parks.
The team is demonstrating how n-gage.io’s software is supporting the industry to enhance the way it engages with visitors, and providing market-leading insights to help optimise operations, promote conservation education and drive income growth.
The company is already working with many BIAZA members across the UK, and will connect with other zoos, wildlife parks and aquariums that have yet to experience the value of the software and guest mobile app.
Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park, the host of the BIAZA Annual Conference for 2025, is already using the technology. The software and app were implemented at the attraction in 2023, and have been integrated throughout the whole visitor journey, including the park’s ticketing software. This provides a smooth experience for day visitors and members.
Stevie Sheppard, park director, says: “The fact that we can now manage our visitors’ interactive digital experience day to day means we’ve been able to be far more personalised in our approach, based on the data the platform and app are generating.
“And from an operational perspective, we’re able to help our visitors plan and manage their day more effectively, from integrating with digital ticketing through to interactive mapping and wayfinding.
“This digital approach and the site’s drive for sustainability have also helped to reduce the need for as much signage and be less reliant on things like paper maps and other printed information, resulting in additional cost savings.”
Packed agenda
The BIAZA Annual Conference gathers the zoo and aquarium community to explore best practices, share experiences and learn about key trends across the sector.
Its extensive agenda spans subjects including accreditation, public affairs and collaborations, in addition to sessions on sustainability, ticketing, and conservation and animal welfare. Bryan Hoare, founder and CEO of n-gage.io, is hosting a session on the benefits of leveraging digital technology to elevate the visitor experience.
The conference also includes the BIAZA Annual General Meeting.
“We’re thrilled to be headline sponsors at the BIAZA Conference 2025 and to be showcasing our innovative software and guest mobile app for zoos, wildlife parks and aquariums,” says Hoare.
“We’re seeing a rapid uptake of our software and mobile app amongst the zoo community worldwide. As we continue to develop the software with the specific needs of the industry in mind, the conference presents a great opportunity for us to network with both existing clients and other BIAZA members who are helping us to drive the future direction of our product.”
Sheppard says: “We’d like to thank n-gage.io for their continued support for BIAZA and sponsoring the 2025 conference. As clients, we’ve established a great working relationship with Bryan and the team over recent years, and we look forward to providing additional input into what is already game changing software for the sector.”
“We are so grateful to n-gage.io for their longstanding support and sponsorship of our annual conference, says Andy Hall, communications and public affairs manager at BIAZA. “Our conference brings together leaders from across the zoo community to share their incredible work and be the champions that nature needs.”
Earlier this week, n-gage.io announced that it has entered into a contract with Longleat, a historic estate and safari park in Wiltshire, UK. With this agreement, the company is helping to transform the visitor experience at the internationally acclaimed attraction.
