The fleet’s sixth ship, named Disney Treasure, is scheduled for delivery in 2024.

Following the recent maiden voyage of the Disney Wish, Disney Cruise Line’s latest ship has been unveiled at D23 Expo 2022.

The fleet’s sixth ship, named the Disney Treasure, was revealed by Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

Inspired by Walt Disney’s love of exploration, the Disney Treasure is scheduled for delivery in 2024. It is the second of three new ships planned for Disney Cruise Line through 2025.

Disney has shared a first look at the vessel’s grand hall, which pays tribute to the fictional land of Agrabah from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Aladdin.

The signature atrium statue will be a “shining, shimmering, splendid” representation of Aladdin, Jasmine and the Magic Carpet.

In addition, Disney has provided a sneak peek of its second island destination in the Bahamas, which is located on the island of Eleuthera at Lighthouse Point.

Disney is working with Bahamian artists and advisors to create the vibrant beach retreat. It will be home to pristine beaches, a recreation center, dining, shopping and a water playground.

In addition, a dedicated cultural pavilion will immerse guests in the “stories and traditions passed down among generations of local residents”.

Disney will develop less than 20 percent of the property, and will supply 90 percent of the site’s power from solar energy. The destination will be built sustainably, and Disney is donating more than 190 acres of privately owned land to the government.

The Disney Wish, which set sail in July, is an immersive and magical experience. Its themed attractions and environments include fairytale worlds, heroic challenges and galactic encounters.

Highlights include the first Disney attraction at sea, Marvel and Frozen-themed dining experiences, and original Broadway-style stage productions.

News from D23 Expo also includes an opening date for Hong Kong Disneyland’s Frozen-themed land and an Avengers Campus expansion at Disneyland Resort.
