The team will be at the Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo 2021

Rainbow Productions, a leading character events company and mascot manufacturer, has announced that it will be making its debut appearance at this year’s Saudi Entertainment and Amusement (SEA) Show, which takes place from 7 – 9 September 2021 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center.

This will also be the first trade show that the company has attended since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the team will be highlighting new services, as well as increasing their market presence in the GCC.

Export Manager, James Barlow says, “As we emerge from a world of Zoom calls and virtual exhibitions, we’ve learned that nothing can replace actual face-to-face interaction, so we are thrilled for the return of in-person trade shows.  For the first time in over a year, we will have the opportunity to reconnect with new and existing clients face-to-face and we can’t wait to showcase our new services.”

Rainbow Productions made the most of the lockdown periods by spending time on staff training, as well as investing in new methods of moulding and digital manufacturing technology, as Barlow explains: “Up until now we have predominantly produced lightweight structured foam heads, but the addition of this technology will now give clients the option of lightweight solid resin heads.”

This means that clients can opt for new fabrics, and also allows the company to remain competitive and at the forefront of global costume character manufacture.

The company has worked on several projects in the Middle East, including at Ferrari World, Global Village, IMG World of Adventures and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. It has also provided mascots for all sixteen clubs in the Saudi Professional Football League.

The team will be at SEA Expo from 7 – 9 September and can be found in the Experience UK Pavilion, at stand 1F20.

Last month, Rainbow Productions announced that a range of much-loved characters will be joining its 130-strong licensed character portfolio, such as Bluey, Go Jetters’ Ubercorn & Glitch, Orinoco, and Pip & Posy.
