Efteling, the fairytale theme park in the Netherlands, has announced strong results for 2025.
Last year, the park enjoyed 5.78 million visits by 4.98 million individual guests. It has also reported an operating income of €347 million and a net profit of €27.2m.
Efteling is attributing its strong performance in 2025 to the continued appeal of the Danse Macabre dark ride, and the opening of the new Efteling Grand Hotel and the Princess and the Pea fairytale.

Additionally, international visitation to Efteling was robust last year, and the park has reported a 47 percent increase in the number of visitors from England compared to 2024.
Fons Jurgens, CEO of Efteling, said: "With Efteling Grand Hotel, we have created a fantastic addition to our multi-day stay offerings for both the national and international market in 2025.
"Although Efteling is subject to a nature permit that limits us to a maximum of five million unique visitors per year, we have stayed within that limit.
"Of course, we hope to welcome as many visitors as possible to the World of Efteling again in 2026, while respecting the regulations. Above all, we hope that a new permit will be granted."

Since opening in 1952, Efteling has grown to become one of Europe's biggest theme parks, welcoming a total of more than 130 million visitors.
On 1 May, Efteling will open its new family-friendly drop tower, called Hooghmoed. Located directly next to Baron 1898, the new ride will have the same theming as the Bolliger & Mabillard dive coaster.
Earlier this month, Efteling opened its new illusion show, Magicaluna.
