Red Raion opens new office in Riyadh

New location will support the continued growth of the firm’s market reach

Red Raion, the CGI studio for media based attractions, has opened a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The firm has reached a significant milestone with its expansion into Riyadh. This new location will support its continued international growth and will enable the firm to be near its clients in the Middle East region.

Partnerships in the region

The new office will help Red Raion strengthen client relationships and increase its market reach in the growing leisure and entertainment sector. The team will closely monitor operations and continue to collaborate with the firm’s headquarters in Italy.

Antonio Cannata, co-founder and strategy director of Red Raion, says: “We are excited to announce the opening of our new office in Riyadh. This expansion underscores our commitment to providing unparalleled service and support to our clients in the Middle East.

“With our official presence in Riyadh, we look forward to better supporting the needs of our clients and partners in the region and to contributing to the growth of the location-based Immersive Entertainment market.”

Riyadh’s entertainment industry is rapidly expanding, with a growing need for innovative media-based attractions. Red Raion has already established key partnerships in the region, which recognise the firm’s expertise in designing and producing CGI content for media-based attractions, enhancing the guest experience at each venue.

The firm is collaborating with organisations such as SELA for The Sphere at Riyadh Boulevard World and Al Hokair for Hasbro PlayOCity. PlayOCity spans 6,000 square feet across two sites and immerses visitors in the worlds of Hasbro brands including Transformers, My Little Pony, Tonka, Power Rangers, Forza 4 and Hippos.

Red Raion recently announced its newest CGI movie for licensing, Alice in Wonderland – Space Match, which is available in 5D, VR, Dome, and Fly. The firm has developed a space adventure where the classic tale of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland becomes a voyage of self-discovery and empowerment.
