Dapper Labs awarded innovation grant to enhance Chaperone engagement platform

News
Chaperone by Dapper Labs

Dapper Labs Ltd, a leading provider of mobile engagement solutions, has announced that it has been awarded an innovation grant to enhance the self-service Experience Builder feature of its award-winning guest engagement platform, Chaperone.

With the support of this grant, Chaperone will enable venues to transform visitor engagement and offer unique experiences through mobile devices.

The award was given out as part of Innovate UK’s Creative Catalyst Programme, which aims to attract the best innovators in the UK. The programme offers end-to-end innovation support for high growth-potential businesses in the UK’s creative sub-sector, in order to help speed up, de-risk, and amplify their path from conception to commercialisation.

Experiences with a lasting impact

With a focus on museums and heritage sites, Dapper Labs will make Experience Builder even more accessible through this grant and with cutting-edge digital technologies. Chaperone allows these iconic locations to harness the power of mobile engagement to engage and educate visitors like never before.

“Our goal is to empower venues to leverage mobile technology and create immersive experiences that leave a lasting impact on visitors and encourage long-lasting engagement and repeat visitation,” says Martin Howe, CEO of Dapper Labs.

“We believe that Chaperone’s Experience Builder will be a game-changer in the industry, helping professionals unlock the full potential of mobile engagement in the most cost-effective and efficient way. These enhancements to the Chaperone platform will be offered as part of a new initiative that we will be launching shortly to guide and support venues in their efforts to utilise digital technologies to enhance visitor engagement.”

Earlier this year, we spoke to the creators of Chaperone, to find out more about its endless capabilities. The comprehensive and advanced user engagement platform enables operators of theme parks, museums, zoos, resorts, aquariums, FECs, immersive art experiences, experiential retail and entertainment complexes, stadiums and more to develop powerful, individualised engagement experiences for their audiences.

In 2021, Chaperone won first place in the engagement category at blooloop’s Innovation Awards.
