The Frick Collectionin New York hasappointedJoseph Shatoff asDeputy Director and Chief Operating Officer.
Shatoff, who is currently at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will take up his post on 6 December.
His new role will involve overseeing theFrick’s expansion plans, the details of which are as yet unclear. A proposal for a six story extension was scrapped in 2015 following protests.
