Imagine Exhibitions, a leader in worldwide travelling exhibitions and entertainment, will be taking part in the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) Annual Meeting and MuseumExpo next week. The event takes place in Denver, Colorado, from 19 – 22 May.

During the event, Debbie Donohue, COO and vice president of sales from Imagine Exhibitions will speak during a Traveling Exhibits-focused Session: Conjuring Sustainable Traveling Exhibitions Models without the Wizardry. This takes place on Saturday 20 May at 2 pm.

Exploring sustainability in travelling exhibitions

The pressure of recent years has compelled museums to reconsider how and why they create travelling exhibitions. This presentation will use case studies to demonstrate how different institutions and producers approach travelling exhibits. Attendees will be able to discover how others have improved their outreach, made the most of their investments, and set up their organisations for success without using a crystal ball!

Donohue says: “This session brings a variety of leaders in the field together to discuss sustainable traveling exhibition models, and as the traveling exhibition and education world continue to grow and evolve, these in person conversations and dialogue help to strengthen our knowledge in our field.”

She will be joined by members from Museum EXP, Luci Creative, the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, and OMSI for a diverse discussion panel.

The Imagine Exhibitions team will also be exhibiting at MuseumExpo and is the lanyard sponsor for AAM 2023. Attendees can meet the team at booth #938.

Last month, Imagine Exhibitions announced a new immersive new experience for the Las Vegas Strip, featuring huge, lifelike animatronic dinosaurs. Visitors at the Horseshoe Las Vegas can get up close and personal with both dinosaurs and prehistoric inhabitants at Dino Safari: A Walk Thru Adventure.

This family-friendly walk-through attraction replaces the National Geographic’s Rarely Seen exhibition, another immersive limited engagement created by Imagine Exhibitions.
