The Shipping Monster, a provider of logistics and transportation to touring exhibitions, attractions and the entertainment industry, has announced that it will once again sponsor the Museums/Musées Canada Summit. This year’s event takes place from 25 – 28 March in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
On Monday 27 March, Shipping Monster partner and CMO, Sunshine Aspinall, will be leading the Breakfast Roundtable for Travelling Exhibitions. On Tuesday 28 March Aspinall will also lead a breakfast panel for the attendees called, ‘There Are No Stupid Questions.’
Change, Then Change Again is a mantra for museum professionals, and this will also be the theme for the Museums/Musées Canada Summit 2023.
Candian conference supports museum professionals
The Shipping Monster Canada is a founding sponsor of the Museums/Musées Canada Summit, which is a grassroots foundation supporting those who work in museums, galleries, science centres, and related cultural institutions across Canada.
Aspinall says:
“We are thrilled to be a part of Museums Canada and their summits! We recognize that sharing knowledge and stories is an integral part of supporting museums’ growth and stability for the future. We are honored to be returning for year two, to see what has transpired over the year, and to meet new people in the field.”
Earlier this month, The Shipping Monster team exhibited at the IAAPA EMEA Trade Summit in Riyadh, where CEO and founder, Robert Aspinall, led a panel entitled Finding the Magic That Lies Between Creative Vision and Budget. This focused on supply chain disruption and sustainability.
The company also recently announced a new partnership with THEMUSEUM | The Rolling Stones | UNZIPPED exhibition, using its expertise and a bespoke green alternative to standard trucking to transport priceless displays from Winnipeg to Halifax, Canada. UNZIPPED celebrates The Stones’ creative partnerships and features unique pieces from artists and brands including Andy Warhol, Alexander McQueen, Prada, Dior, and Martin Scorsese.
