Area15 in Las Vegas has opened its new Eye Dropper attraction, billed as a 200-foot-tall psychedelic thrill ride.
The new offering transforms the classic drop tower into a "cinematic, story-driven experience inspired by trippy art and altered states of perception", Area15 said in a press release.
The ride is the newest addition to Area15's Zone 2 expansion, which is anchored by Universal Destinations & Experience’s Universal Horror Unleashed.
"We’re in the midst of an extraordinary time of expansion and evolution at Area15,” said Winston Fisher, CEO of Area15.
"Eye Dropper is only the latest iconic attraction on our roster, but there’s even more on the horizon that we can’t wait to share with everyone.
"It’s no exaggeration to say there’s always something new and extraordinary to discover at Area15."

Eye Dropper features 'Space Shot' and 'Turbo Drop' sequences, and can launch, freefall or combine both for a thrilling experience. After each drop, riders descend through a sensory cooldown as the system resets.
The ride also boasts speeds of up to 36 miles per hour, with forces ranging from 4.0 Gs to moments of weightless airtime at -1.2 Gs.
Additionally, the attraction is topped with a custom LED marquee featuring an all-seeing 'digital eye' that can be seen across Las Vegas.

While waiting in the queue, guests enjoy pulsing red lights, immersive sounds and surreal design elements, and as they prepare for launch, mechanical sounds, rising tones and voice prompts create a cinematic sequence.
Area15's expansion, which launched last year, also includes Felix & Paul Studios’ Interstellar Arc, as well as an escape room centre, the Malibu Barbie Café pop-up and the Great Big Game Show.
Also coming to Zone 2 is the Museum of Ice Cream, which opens on 3 July, and Area15's Boeing 747, which is being transformed into an event and lounge venue.
