Chinese toymaker Pop Mart's collectible character Skullpanda is heading to the National Museum of Singapore for an immersive exhibit.
The company behind the Labubu line of toys has teamed up with the museum and the Singapore Tourism Board to present the Skullpanda Cage-Uncage Showcase.
Open from 12 December through 22 February 2026, the immersive and multi-sensory showcase will allow fans to engage with the Skullpanda character.
The exhibit, which made its debut earlier this year in Shanghai, China, explores the artistic craft behind collectible design and culture.
It was produced by Pop Mart in collaboration with Skullpanda creator and artist Xiong Miao.
Justin Moon, senior vice president and chief operating officer at Pop Mart, said the showcase explores "deeper themes through collectible design".
Guests will see large-scale art installations and sculptures featuring Skullpanda, interactive opportunities, and immersive environments.
Skullpanda Cage-Uncage Showcase
The National Museum of Singapore first collaborated with Pop Mart in 2024 on Play:Date – Unlocking Cabinets of Play.
Its new Pop Mart experience will allow the museum to "harness the phenomenon’s widespread appeal to connect with diverse audiences through Skullpanda's artistry and provide new pathways to deeper museum experiences", said Chung May Khuen, director of the National Museum of Singapore
Kenneth Lim, assistant chief executive (marketing group), Singapore Tourism Board, said: "By fostering connections between local museums and global creative leaders such as Pop Mart, we're delivering unique experiences that visitors cannot find anywhere else."

Exclusive merchandise will only be available to showcase ticket holders who have completed their visit, and is limited to one item per person.
Also, a Singapore-exclusive Skullpanda Cage-Uncage Showcase gift will be given to the first 4,500 visitors.
Pop Mart will be presenting a special pop-up store at the museum, open to the general public.
