Semnox Solutions, a technology provider for the entertainment and amusement industry, has completed one of its biggest projects yet on the East Coast, with the installation of an extensive range of technologies at Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

This included nine Klimate Outdoor Kiosks and over 30 XcessOSreaders, now in operation across numerous attractions.

Bringing Semnox systems to both pier and water attractions

Designed for outdoor environments, the touchscreen readers can support up to four sales points per device. This offers clients more flexibility and streamlines operations at high-volume locations.

The technology was also expanded to include the water park, making Casino Pier one of the first locations in the US to incorporate Semnox systems across both pier and water attractions.

Ken Taylor, managing director at Casino Pier, says: "The new readers have been bulletproof the whole season. Its components have been robust and reliable."

In addition, the multi-phase rollout included an arcade conversion, indoor kiosk installations, handheld KwickFun devices, and retail sales. Midway prize-award capability is planned for the 2026 season.

Leinad Borman of Semnox Solutions, says: "This project has been years in the making, and seeing Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach go live with these systems is a proud milestone.

"Not only did we introduce new kiosks and readers, but we also completed one of our largest card conversions to date. By helping longtime visitors carry their history forward, we’ve paired tradition with innovation for the future."

Last month, Semnox Solutions worked with Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, an acclaimed family attraction on the Jersey Shore, to update its operations while protecting years of visitor loyalty.

As part of the project, Semnox migrated over 8 million legacy guest accounts into its system, making Jenkinson’s the first US location to use card conversion software directly at kiosks.

The amusement park rollout included 10 Klimate Outdoor Kiosks and more than 35 XcessOS readers at rides, attractions, and batting cages.
