Shanghai Disney Resort has kicked off its 10th anniversary year with fireworks and a birthday logo.
Alongside 2026-shaped fireworks on New Year's Eve, Shanghai Disneyland unveiled its 10th birthday logo for the first time.
The design was projected onto the Enchanted Storybook Castle during the nighttime show, beginning a year-long celebration at the resort.

"We are immensely grateful to our cast members, Imagineers and partners for a remarkable 2025 and a wonderful start to our upcoming 10th year of operations," said Andrew Bolstein, president and general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort.
"For nearly a decade, we have had the distinct privilege to bring happiness to guests and fans from China and around the world."
He added, "With the approach of our 10th anniversary, our team has been working tirelessly on our 10th anniversary celebrations, and we cannot wait to welcome our guests to visit and celebrate this significant milestone together with us."
Expansion at Shanghai Disney Resort
The tagline for Shanghai Disney Resort's 10th anniversary celebration is "With You, It’s Magic+."
According to Shanghai Disney Resort, the plus sign has multiple meanings, including representing the Chinese character “十” (ten) for the resort’s 10th anniversary.
Shanghai Disney Resort is currently undergoing a major expansion, including its third and fourth themed hotels, and Shanghai Disneyland's new Spider-Man-themed land.

Additionally, a new residential community for the resort's cast members is under construction.
Ahead of the resort's 10th anniversary, Shanghai Disneyland is focusing on improving its daily operations. In the first half of this year, new turnstiles will be introduced to enhance efficiency.
In 2025, Hong Kong Disneyland marked its 20th anniversary, a year-long celebration dubbed The Most Magical Party of All.
"The resort is pulling out all the stops to make this an unforgettable celebration for our fans, guests, cast and community, putting Hong Kong Disneyland in the global spotlight," Michael Moriarty, managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland, told blooloop.
