accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider for attractions worldwide, has unveiled accessoPay 3.0, the newest version of its digital payment platform.
This update marks a key milestone in the company’s next-gen payment approach, offering a completely redesigned checkout that is faster, smarter, and more secure. It aims to improve conversion rates while adhering to modern security and usability standards.
With a streamlined interface, an improved guest experience, and strong integrations with Cybersource, part of Visa Acceptance Solutions, and Accertify, accessoPay 3.0 empowers operators to provide smooth e-commerce transactions, better fraud protection, and increased guest confidence across all digital touchpoints.
“With accessoPay 3.0, the team has redefined the checkout experience for attractions and venues,” says Michael Wiggins, senior director of global services at accesso.
“This release is focused on creating an even smoother and more intuitive guest experience, while supporting our clients’ revenue goals through fast, smart and secure payment tools.”
Supporting next-gen guests
accessoPay 3.0 introduces several key enhancements. The checkout process and user interface have been redesigned to be more intuitive, with clear progress indicators, fewer clicks, and a smoother user journey.
Support for digital wallets has been expanded, including updates to Apple Pay and Google Pay, allowing for fast and secure payments across supported web and mobile browsers. PayPal support now includes Venmo, Pay Later, and PayPal Credit, providing more payment options. Additionally, Trustly offers direct bank payments for certain global markets, eliminating the need for cards or apps.
For security, accessoPay 3.0 features next-generation tokenisation and payment security measures. This includes the Token Management Service (TMS) by Cybersource, built on Visa’s infrastructure, which securely captures and manages card data for recurring and one-click purchases. Network token support has also been added to improve approval rates and reduce fraud exposure.
The platform now includes integrated upselling features such as Protecht Ticket Insurance, which is embedded at checkout, along with donation prompts to support charitable initiatives. It also offers Flex Pay (formerly Uplift) instalment loans, giving guests flexible payment options.
Enhanced fraud protection is provided through Accertify, featuring pre- and post-authorisation risk checks for real-time threat detection and dynamic 3DS enablement that adjusts security based on transaction-level risk.
The frontend architecture has been optimised to include saved card functionality, dynamic payment buttons, A/B testing with Optimizely, and dynamic error handling. Plus, the system is compliance-ready, supporting PCI-DSS standards, secure wallet storage, and adaptive authentication.
Like all accesso solutions, accessoPay is built to evolve, providing quick, smart, and secure checkout experiences that cater to the demands of today’s digital-first guests.
Earlier this month, accesso announced that it has renewed its longstanding collaboration with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. The companies have entered into a new five-year agreement for the ongoing use of the accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing platform throughout Six Flags’ theme and water park portfolio in North America.
