Barco, the technology company focusing on innovative visualization solutions, has once again added to its LCD video wall portfolio, following the release of its new Barco UniSee 500, OverView KVD-5521C and OverView LVD-5521C. Now, with the launch of the next generation of the high-brightness UniSee LCD video wall, it has completed a full renewal of the portfolio.
This release builds on the strengths of the Barco UniSee, optimising the cutting-edge image quality for a wider array of applications.
Award-winning design
When it was first introduced in 2017, Barco UniSee received several awards and accolades, including the ‘Best of the Best’ Red Dot Design award. Since then, the company has continued to improve the product’s image quality, installation precision, ease-of-servicing and reliability.
Now, over 2,500 Barco UniSee walls have been installed across the globe, from small 2×2 installations to 40-metre-wide video walls.
Barco has also improved the platform’s deployment and serviceability, meaning users can easily get a video wall installed and keep it running with minimal interruptions. Plus, the company’s Video Wall Management Suite lets resellers and managed service providers monitor and manage the installed base from one central location. This service is free during the warranty period.
When it comes to servicing, Barco offers comprehensive packages for the complete product lifecycle.
Sustainability
The company also puts emphasis on eco-design as it works to create more sustainable solutions. The latest generation of the Barco UniSee series has a Barco Eco Product label, following its stringent ISO14021 compliant eco-scoring methodology.
“The introduction of the high-brightness Barco UniSee concludes our LCD portfolio update and prepares us for the years to come with the latest LCD technology,” says Gerrit Vermeire, director of product management at Barco.
“It also shows our full commitment to customer outcomes by continuing to offer the full range of visualization solutions – being LCD, LED or rear-projection cube (RPC).
“This demonstrates our pioneering role and innovation in our key markets. The new high-brightness Barco UniSee platform continues the path our customers value so much, adding several additional benefits to the package while sustaining our established eco-system.”
The next generation high-brightness Barco UniSee will start shipping from next month.
Last month, Barco showed how its G60-W8 projectors and F80-4K7 projectors have helped the Artic University Museum in Tromsø, Norway, to recreate the spectacle of the northern lights.
