Connect&GO continues to expand in France

Connect&GO, a leading global provider of integrated technology and RFID solutions for the attractions industry, has announced that it is continuing to expand in France with three new projects for Looping Group.

The Konnect attraction management platform is expected to launch at Grand Aquarium de Touraine, Mini Chateaux, and Planète Sauvage in February, and at La Mer de Sable and Parc Bagatelle in mid-April.

This strategic expansion reaffirms Connect&GO’s dedication to enhancing France’s leisure and attractions sector, as well as its status as a trusted technology supplier in the region.

Comprehensive features

The Grand Aquarium de Touraine is the largest freshwater aquarium in Europe and the only facility that enables guests to explore three aquatic realms in one location – from the French mountain ranges to the far seas. The adjacent Mini-Chateaux offers a 1:25 scale replica of over 40 miniature castles, complete with a fragrant garden for a multisensory journey through history.

Planète Sauvage is a safari park which provides a rare chance to see over a thousand wild animals from 150 different species in their natural habitats.

Two of France’s biggest theme parks, La Mer de Sable and Parc Bagatelle, are located in the north of the country. Just outside of Paris, La Mer de Sable transports visitors from the desert to the jungle and the Far West with more than 30 attractions, shows, and horse shows. Meanwhile, Parc Bagatelle offers exhilarating rides and performances for the entire family.

The Konnect integrated management platform will be used by all of these Looping Group attractions to streamline operations and increase income using a centralised system.

Konnect presents a significant advancement in the world of attractions management technology, seamlessly integrating eCommerce, point-of-sale, access control, BI reporting, cashless payments, and other features with optional RFID technology. This is in contrast to legacy platforms that are fragmented and incomplete. Konnect guarantees a flawless visitor experience while simultaneously improving operational efficiency through the use of real-time data and patented Virtual Wallet technology.

The platform’s capabilities for B2C and B2B sales and reservations, corporate eCommerce, external ticketing, and Chorus Pro integration will also be utilised by Grand Aquarium de Touraine and Planète Sauvage. This extensive range of features reinforces Konnect’s reputation as a transformative force in attraction management technology, and will drive advancements in operational excellence and guest satisfaction at Grand Aquarium de Touraine and Planète Sauvage.

Continued collaboration

These new projects continue the collaboration between Connect&GO and Looping Group and follow the adoption of Konnect at Grand Aquarium St-Malo and Cobac Parc in 2022 and 2023.

Charles Bennet, COO of Looping Group, says: “We’re excited for the next phase in our partnership with Connect&GO. They have been amazing in meeting our needs, delivering on custom development and providing hands-on support from the start of our relationship.”

Connect&GO has made significant progress in the past year towards being France’s preferred choice for next-generation attractions management technology—a logical step for the bilingual company based in Quebec.

Integrations with Ticketmaster France, France Billet, and Chorus Pro provide a comprehensive solution for the French market. In addition, the company has expanded its workforce in Europe to accommodate increased demand.

Dominic Gagnon, CEO of Connect&GO, comments: “As Connect&GO surges ahead, we are thrilled to reinforce our presence in France with the deployment in these new Looping Group attractions. This expansion is a testament to the success of our partnership and our ongoing commitment to delivering unparalleled technology that enhances operational efficiency and drives revenue for our clients.”

Connect&GO continues helping its clients worldwide in their transitions to modern, fully integrated technology that allows them to streamline their operations, improve revenue, and focus on their visitors. The company recently announced new collaborations with Wicked Waves Waterpark, Cape Cod Inflatables Park, ARENA23, and Splash Kingdom in the United States. These new partnerships follow the launch of the firm’s integrated BI reporting solution (Konnect BI reporting) at IAAPA Expo 2023.

Earlier this month, Connect&GO unveiled plans to once again bring its technology to the Olympics in 2024. The firm will contribute to the enhanced visitor experience at Canada Olympic House for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, under a new service provider agreement with the Canadian Olympic Committee.
