Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, has revealed how the digital transformation trend is showing no signs of slowing. More European destinations are now moving to its all-in-one eCommerce platform, in order to optimise their business operations in the face of a challenging financial climate.
Since the end of the previous season, the firm has added 14 new partners from six nations, including some that were initially sluggish to embrace digital transformation, like Germany, and some regions that were new to Convious last year, such as the UK and France.
Supporting a range of new clients
Convious, which was created specifically for experience economy businesses, recognises the subtle differences among various destination genres and offers specific support features for each, including support for theme parks, museums, heritage sites like castles and stately homes, spas, water parks, activity centres, zoos, and aquariums.
This is demonstrated by the wide range of new partners that Convious is currently collaborating with, such as the indoor adventure and ski park Ice Mountain, the indoor playground Funoase, and the sporting venue Sparkx in Belgium. It is also working with Rustik and Parc Saint Paul amusement parks, La Ferme aux Crocodiles zoo, and the French castles Château St. Fargeau and Ferme du Château.
Other clients include amusement park Freizeitpark Plohn, wildlife park Tripsdrill and boat tour operator Rössler Linie in Germany, as well as the UK’s West Midland Safari Park and Camel Creek.
“As we move into what will be the first full season post-Covid for most destinations, it is great to see more attractions turning to us as partners to support their eCommerce operations,” says Hans Keijmel, head of sales & customer success at Convious.
“The Convious platform enables companies in the leisure industry to have full viability over every aspect of their operations. Using AI, we provide solutions for interacting with visitors at every stage of the customer journey with modules for marketing, visitor experience and eCommerce, allowing operators to have full visibility to streamline operations.
“We are looking forward to the new season getting underway and supporting our partners in increasing revenue, enhancing visitor experiences and reducing manual operational work so teams can focus on what really matters.”
Long-term benefits
The benefit is also being felt by long-term Convious partners as their businesses grow. This includes attractions like Smile Safari in Belgium, Funmania in Northern Ireland, SEA LIFE Helsinki in Finland. In the Netherlands, happy long-term customers include Indoor Mountainbike, Avonturenpark Hellendoorn, Sprookjesbos Valkenburg, Moco Museum, Sanjes Safari and Julianatoren. In Germany, Convious works with Irrlandia, Schloß Thurn, Saarow Therme and Mauritius Hotel & Therme, with more to come.
“The entire team is delighted to count Convious as a partner for its online ticketing and resellers management,” says Hervé Perret, operations manager at La Ferme aux Crocodiles.
“Thanks to them, the visitor experience begins way before the visit, where our visitors can choose from our VIP services and escape games, guided tours, virtual reality etc in a tailor-made setting and within their budget. A big thank you to the Convious team for their involvement and their sense of customer service, something so rare and essential these days.”
Convious recently upgraded ticketing for Bavaria Filmstadt, a leading studio tour attraction in Germany.
