Leading international audiovisual and technology services company, Electrosonic, has announced that it has qualified as an AVIXA AV Provider of Excellence (APEx).

AVIXA APEx is a marketing recognition program for integration companies and AV design consulting firms. It rewards companies dedicated to upholding industry excellence by providing quality service to customers.

David Labuskes, Executive Director and CEO of AVIXA, said: “The APEx designation gives AV companies a mark of distinction in the marketplace. Customers of APEx companies can be confident of the AV provider’s professionalism and commitment to ongoing training, customer service and dedication to excellence.”

The APEx program is rigorous. It recognises companies based on the number of employees holding key industry qualifications. Companies must also achieve positive response to an independent customer survey.

In order to qualify, 15% of employees must have attained AVIXA’s CTS certifications. This includes the CTS for general expertise in AV. It also includes the CTS-D for specialisation in AV design and the CTS-I for specialisation in AV installation.

APEx providers are also required to prove that they either meet or exceed the requirements within two ANSI/INFOCOMM standards, the Standard Guide for Audiovisual Systems Design and Coordination Processes and the AV System Performance Verification Standard. This ensures they can achieve better communication between the AV provider and the client.

Innovation, creativity and precision

Sarah Joyce, Managing Director of Electrosonic EMEA, said: “Achieving the APEx designation is very important to us as a measure of Electrosonic’s commitment to our clients, the AV industry and to our employee learning and development programmes. Electrosonic prides itself on innovation, creativity and precision engineering while continually driving the AV industry forward. We are very proud to have exceeded the required number of CTS-certified employees and to have had many of our clients provide positive feedback on their Electrosonic experiences.”

Electrosonic employs a diverse team of talent with different backgrounds, cultures, ages and experiences. The company is committed to their development. It allows staff to design, build and support innovative technology solutions all over the world.
