Electrosonic Ltd. furthers its commitment to client data safety with the internationally recognised ISO 27001 certification.

Global audio-visual systems integration and service solutions company Electrosonic has strengthened its already impressive security standards.  The achievement comes in the wake of an independent assessment conducted by NQA, the leading verification and certification body.

The international ISO 27001 standard adheres to a strict set of proven procedures.  It calls on a stringent alignment of business and IT processes. These, in turn, strengthen the security of information infrastructure, ensuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of client data.

“Security threats are ever present and are always evolving,” says Sarah Joyce, Managing Director of Electrosonic Ltd.  “Certification of ISO 27001 demonstrates our commitment to counteracting this issue and ensuring the safety of our clients and their data.” She points out that, “adding this certification to our existing portfolio of standards shows our readiness to meet the compliance requirements of our customers.”

Information security is a central concern for organisations. The main drivers include globalisation, government directives and regulatory requirements.  Terrorism and escalating cybercrime are also of grave concern.

“Having our latest practices validated by a third-party auditor certainly assures our customer base, which includes global corporate organisations, with some of the most demanding security requirements in the world, that we have the controls in place to protect them at all levels,” says Rob Webb, Quality, Health & Safety & Environment Manager of Electrosonic.

The company was presented with the ISO27001 certificate by Nick Wright NQA Operations Director at their UK headquarters in Dartford, Kent.

Electrosonic also hold these additional ISO standards: Environmental Management System BS EN ISO14001; Quality Management System and Occupational BS EN ISO9001; Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001.

Electrosonic was founded in 1964.  It creates tailored, state-of-the-art solutions for a variety of markets including theme parks, museums, video conferencing and control rooms
