Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, has announced it will be in attendance at the Saudi Entertainment & Amusement (SEA) Expo later this month.
The technology firm has a presence in over 55 countries and has long recognised the importance of the Middle East market, establishing a local team and office in the region in 2013.
Embed’s integrated system allows operators to focus on the guest journey, driving revenue through enhanced game management and eliminating overheads.
Solutions Group CEO Renee Welsh says: “Our industry is now increasing at an annual rate of roughly 11%. However, in the Middle East, things are moving faster, with a growth of approximately 13-14%.
“We believe the reason for this rapid growth is that the region has consistently recognised the value of entertainment as part of its core strategy and provides world-class experiences to residents and tourists. In fact, the industry is included in His Royal Majesty’s Saudi Vision 2030, with an aim to diversify the country’s resources.”
Opportunities
Producing a system that is fully compliant with Saudi system laws, Welsh explains that the prospect of the KSA market provides an exciting opportunity.
She says: “We are starting to see many Saudi entrepreneurs enter the entertainment market requiring a cashless system that can offer as many business modules in a single solution – like sales, POS, prizes, kiosks, readers, wearables, CRM, event bookings, reports and more. The Embed system can cater to these multi-attraction entertainment centres.”
Welsh will also be a keynote speaker at the SEA Summit, exploring the FEC of the Future, what it means for organisations today, and how businesses can take steps to future-proof their operations.
“We have our cashless system up and running for so many long-time KSA customers, partners, and friends. We take pride in working as direct partners with our customers – no need for third-party distributors or affiliations to get the job done and offer our customers direct care, support, and training,” she adds.
Embed technologies
Embed states it has empowered FECs to make smarter and sounder business decisions largely in part to its industry leadership, tech innovations and data availability.
Two of the firm’s latest technologies will be explored at the show including KIOSK+, the self-service touchscreen display with expandable modularity, and Breakaway Game Card, a blend of the traditional game cards with wearable media, marketed with the strapline “SNAP. STRAP. PLAY!”.
Embed’s chief supply chain officer Rob Thompson says: “Traditional game cards carve a cult following for FECs and wearable media bring an extra layer of convenience, so why not have both on your wrist? Breakaway game cards can also ease up inventory management at the operator level.”
SEA 2022 takes place from 16-18 May at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre. Those attending the event can reserve a meeting with Embed in advance.
In March, Embed celebrated International Women’s Day, reestablishing its commitment to equality by releasing a company manifesto.
