Chip and PIN, also commonly known as EMV (Europay MasterCard Visa), is an international standard for processing chip-equipped credit and debit cards. It’s also a hot topic among amusement and attraction venues and for good reason! In the near future, all credit and debit cards issued in the U.S. will have a chip on them.
