Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has revealed Fundamentals Training for Galaxy, a training initiative which aims to provide participants with a grounding in the firm’s innovative products. This new release serves as a foundation course in Gateway’s Galaxy education series.
The one-week training programme is designed to satisfy the demands of system administrators wishing to improve their knowledge and skills on the Galaxy System. In a classroom setting, the training seeks to assist attendees in fully understanding the system’s capabilities, features, basic setups, usage, best practices, and reporting functions. Learners have access to cutting-edge facilities and expert trainers. The programme aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, allowing them to learn by doing.
With no more than 16 learners in each session, the training is extremely interactive, allowing the trainers to provide personalised attention. Participants can ask questions, clarify their doubts, and engage in meaningful conversations that make them feel appreciated and understood.
William Bruce, systems analyst at San Diego Zoo, says: “The content of this course was easy to understand and provided concrete explanations for processes of the application while encouraging users to notate the hows and whys in their own words, which I found extremely helpful in navigating the various modules of this robust program.”
Practical training
The comprehensive programme is offered once a quarter, so there are numerous opportunities to register. This hands-on approach guarantees that learners understand theoretical concepts and gain practical skills that they can apply in their work, helping them to create a significant impact.
Key features of the Galaxy Training Course include:
- Focused time. A private classroom atmosphere and small learning group size help to reduce learning distractions.
- Individual attention. The Gateway instructor can support new Galaxy learners by offering real-world examples to reinforce concepts, and by helping with practice questions and scenarios.
- Relationship building. In addition to meeting staff from Gateway, learners can collaborate with peers in the field, building a network of resources and information that will be useful to them beyond the classroom.
- Self-contained learning environment. With the help of a self-contained virtual learning lab, students can practise and become acquainted with the Galaxy System in a secure and supported setting.
- Daily assessments. Learners are given questions and configuration situations that are relevant to their learning to evaluate their understanding of best practices.
Tom Chiarella, executive vice president and head of product at Gateway Ticketing Systems, comments: “We are thrilled to launch this comprehensive training program, which reflects our commitment to empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
“Our goal is to provide a dynamic learning experience that equips participants with a solid understanding of our products, paving the way for enhanced productivity and innovation.”
Furthermore, the training programme provides excellent networking opportunities, allowing attendees to meet with peers in the field, share best practices, and receive vital insights into industry trends and innovations.
After taking the programme, attendees will have the knowledge and skills to configure, manage, and maintain the system, making them significant assets to any business utilising the Galaxy System. The training is conducted in person at Gateway Ticketing Systems’ headquarters in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania.
