Mobaro, a provider of online maintenance and safety solutions, is strengthening its presence in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH), with membership of The Association of German Leisure Parks and Leisure Companies (VDFU) and the appointment of a new representative for the region.
The company provides CMMS and operations management solutions to over 300 visitor attractions around the world. It has a reputation for efficiently managing crucial safety, maintenance, and operations for amusement parks, family entertainment centres (FECs), zoos, waterparks, and others.
Henrik Have, co-CEO of Mobaro, says: “Even though we have been supporting customers in the DACH region for years now, with a refined focus and our membership of VDFU, we aim to intensify our role in optimizing the digital journey for the local parks and attractions.”
Fostering industry connections
The company has an established client base in Germany, which includes parks such as Fort Fun Abenteuerland, Tripsdrill, and Karls Erlebnisdorf.
“Being a VDFU member is a natural next step, as we have always focused on being an active part of the national associations and communities,” says Have.
“It is a great way for connecting with industry peers and a great forum for our team and our clients to share their experiences from using the system thus fostering a knowledge-sharing culture across the attractions and nurturing ideas for future enhancements of the platform.”
VDFU is the leading association of companies in the German theme park industry, and represents a diverse range of attractions, suppliers, services, and consultants in both Germany and nearby countries.
Mobaro’s representative, Ole Bonde Madsen, attended the VDFU ConnEX forum in Munich this week. This event brought together leaders from the leisure industry for networking, a series of workshops and sessions sharing actionable insights, and a trade show with 85 exhibitors. The conference took place on 11 March, with a supporting programme running 10 to 12 March.
Last year, Mobar shared details of its successful implementation at Folly Farm in South Wales and celebrated its 10th anniversary.
