OE Experiences joins Placer Partner Program

Firm combines its internal expertise with Placer.ai’s statistically significant dataset to enhance outcomes for investors and clients

OE Experiences, a financial consulting and business management firm that specialises in the experience economy, has announced that it has joined the Placer Partner Program.

The firm makes innovative use of Placer.ai by merging its expertise in programming and IP selection with Placer’s capacity to assess site selection strength.

Combining expertise & verified data

Placer.ai is a data analytics tool that uses geofenced locations in the US to give attendance, demographic, and visitor data.

Matthew Cross, co-founder and CEO of OE Experiences, says: “Our firm’s partnership with Placer.ai dates back to the start of the post-COVID economy, and our need to substantiate design, location, and programming decisions on behalf of our and our client’s projects.

“We were the first company to utilize Placer.ai in a unique manner to not only evaluate sites, but to combine it with our internal expertise to generate reporting and information to assist creative and design teams.”

He adds that this innovative method of bringing together subjective input from the firm’s specialists with objective and verified information from a statistically significant dataset is a powerful tool that will improve outcomes for investors and clients.

“As we continue to see innovation within the experience sector that inevitably brings failed ventures, something that hurts the entire stakeholder group, our goal is to mitigate risk to the highest degree,” says Cross. “This way, when investors and developers do elect to move forward, they will have the confidence the process was exhaustive and utilized the best information available to the market.”

By building a strong link between the finance and creative sectors, OE Experiences can monetise the experience economy. The firm acts as an advisor, owner’s agent, and co-developer for projects throughout the US, including immersive dining, themed hospitality, and location-based entertainment.

Mark Bowman, head of partnerships at Placer.ai, comments: “Placer’s ultimate mission is to unlock the power of analytics to help empower businesses to improve their decision-making and drive tangible business goals. We’re excited to have OE Experiences join our fast-growing Placer Partner Program.”

Placer.ai provides unparalleled visibility into consumer foot traffic. As a result, public and private organisations can make better decisions based on insights into what’s happening in the physical environment.

OE Experiences and Placer.ai are set to feature on WXO’s Campfire series on 22 May. The session topic is Data to Shape, Enforce & Enhance Experience Design.

Earlier this year, OE Experiences launched OE Development, a new internal investment entity to drive projects forward.
