RocketRez, the all-in-one POS for tours and attractions, has announced its upcoming booth will be the result of its biggest IAAPA Expo investment to date.
Nine staff from different departments of the tech firm will be attending to demonstrate their product’s expertise. The custom-made stand will feature an increased footprint for attendees to explore the technology.
Aiding recovery
The RocketRez product and development team has been working on creating a true all-in-one platform, propelled by the company’s Series A fundraising. The firm intends to use the platform of IAAPA to showcase the system’s value that can be unlocked for customers.
RocketRez says attractions increasingly require modern ways to capture data, perform dynamic pricing and increase average head spend, especially as the travel and tourism sectors begin to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Examples of recent work by the company include integrating its Web Engine into the booking process for Chicago-based Xtreme Xperience and enabling SMS Ticketing so visitors can receive ticket barcodes direct to their phone.
Time to evolve
John Pendergrast, RocketRez CEO says “The days of running your attraction with antiquated on-premises software, or a mix of SaaS point solutions that don’t connect to each other, are over.
“It is clear from our conversations that customers need a true cloud-based, all-in-one platform to manage each facet of their business. This evolution has happened across many industries, and now the stage is really set for attractions to follow suit.”

Company CEO Pendergrast will also be giving a presentation at IAAPA Expo. The session, entitled “Be a Hero: Insights on Your Customer Journey with Data from every Touchpoint”, takes place on 16 November at 1:00 pm.
RocketRez recently revealed it has worked with Governors Island, New York to improve its ferry ticketing efficiency, upgrading the process to help serve more customers as conveniently as possible.
