Marvel Super Heroes 4-D and Happy Feet 4-D Experience
SimEx-Iwerks, specialists in designing, building and operating special F/X driven cinematic attractions that feature blockbuster content, have opened two new 4-D Theaters at Madame Tussauds Hollywood and the Museum of Science, Boston.
Both the new theaters feature the latest in 3-D technology and custom special effects, taking the 4-D Experiences® to a whole new level.
Commenting on the announcement Mark Cornell, Senior Vice President of Attractions Development at SimEx-Iwerks, said, “We are proud to add these two iconic locations to our list of partners. Madame Tussauds Hollywood: Marvel Super Heroes 4-D
Madame Tussauds Hollywood has a new immersive Marvel Super Heroes 4-D Experience which includes the latest high-tech, laser FX lighting package from SimEx-Iwerks, transporting guests right into the heart of the action sequences. The attraction also features a customised fully themed pre-show experience offering interactive photo opportunities with Marvel Super Heroes favourites like Iron Man, Captain America and Thor.

Museum of Science, Boston
The 3-D theater at the Museum of Science, Boston was updated in just four months to create a new state-of-the-art 4-D Theater experience. The new theater features a number of innovative special FX designs from SimEx-Iwerks including the new LED, colored wall lighting system that provides an immersive, peripheral enhancement to the visuals.
The Museum has opened the theater with the Happy Feet 4-D Experience, Planet Earth: Shallow Seas 4-D Experience and Dora & Diego’s 4-D Adventure and as a holiday special the Polar Express 4-D Experience.
