accesso Technology Group plc (accesso) has announced a three year agreement with Compagnies des Alpes (CDA) to provide the accesso Passport eCommerce solution for five CDA theme parks in Belgium and Holland.
This announcement follows on from the agreement signed with 2012 to provide Qsmart, the accesso Group’s patented smartphone-based queuing solution, to Walibi Holland.
Building on that relationship, accesso will now introduce the accesso Passport eCommerce solution at Walibi Holland, and also at Walibi Belgium, Bellewaerde Park, Aqualibi Belgium, and Dolfinarium.
Commenting on the announcement, Bas Maatman, CDA Finance Director for Holland, said, “The mobile revolution is well underway in Europe and resulting in a significant shift in guest demand when it comes to ticket purchase preferences. The Accesso Passport solution delivers a richer and more intuitive user experience that will help us provide a guest experience that increases sales conversion across our online ticket stores.”
Tom Burnet, Chief Executive Officer for accesso, said, “I am delighted to be announcing today’s news and the first win for Accesso Passport in Europe. This is a very exciting time for our Group as we forge ahead in leveraging existing relationships to generate agreements across our product lines. This win is a great example of that in action and we are extremely proud to be expanding our work with Compagnies des Alpes to help them meet rapidly growing consumer demand for mobile sales and enable them to offer a world-class and highly-secure buying experience for their guests.”
