Attraktion!, experts in the creation of media-based attractions, has joined forces with Only World Group (OWG), Malaysia to work together in the region.
Both parties sealed the deal at the EAS Show in Gothenburg earlier this month.
The first project stemming from the collaboration will be the installation of three media-based attractions at ‘The Top’ on Penang Island, Malaysia: a 48-seat 5D Dome theatre, Playoke Dance & Kids, and the new immersive, virtual Sea Explorer 5D. Projection hardware for this project is being provided by Belgian projector manufacturer, Barco.
The Top, scheduled to open at the end of the year, is a brand new venue situated in the heart of the island and features 300, 000 ft² of attractions, food and beverage, as well as retail outlets. Highlights include the 360° Observation Deck on Level 64 and the world’s highest open-sky bar on Level 66.

OWG is reported to be investing around $100M USD over the next two years in the latest state-of-the-art attractions for the venue. The Top will be operated by one of its subsidiaries, Magnificent Empire.
