Chessington World of Adventures Resort has partnered with Magic Light Pictures tocreate the world's first Gruffalo themed ride.
The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, based on the children's book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, will open in Spring 2017.
In addition to the ride, Chessington plans a range of Gruffalo themed attractions and facilities, including four brandnew Gruffalo themed hotel rooms in the Chessington Safari Hotel; a brand new Gruffalo shop and a Gruffalo Bites food outlet, both offering themed goodies; character meet and greets with the Gruffalo himself, and more.
