Digital Visitor, a leader in digital strategy and PR, has announced that it has been appointed as the official digital partner for the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (ALVA).

The UK based company Digital Visitor is proud to be working with the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions. ALVA is an exclusive organisation, comprised of the UK’s most iconic, important and well-loved visitor attractions. It currently has 57 members, who manage more than 2200 sites. Its members host over 119 million visits every year, by both overseas and domestic visitors. This makes up more than 28% of all visits made in the UK.

Bernard Donoghue, the Mayor of London’s Culture Ambassador and CEO of ALVA says, “I am delighted that Digital Visitor has become ALVA’s newest partner. Their commitment to and understanding of visitor attractions is unrivalled. They share our passion for helping our members better reach and communicate with their audiences and to continually improve the visitor experience. I know that we will all benefit from sharing our respective insights and experiences and learning from each other.”

Sharing expertise

ALVA represents its members to Government, media and business. It helps members to continuously improve the visitor experience at their attractions, through regular events and the sharing of knowledge.

Speaking about the announcement, Digital Visitor Co-Founder Simon Jones says, “It’s incredible to be involved with so many outstanding attractions. As someone who has managed attractions and now works on the agency side, I think there is a lot of valuable knowledge to be shared from both sides. We have the unique privilege of getting to know each attraction and their unique challenges which has been fascinating and has allowed us to share our expertise.”

Digital Visitor recently won Best Digital Agency at the Travel Marketing Awards in London. The company is also working on new projects with the British Airways i360 and the Silverstone Experience.
