Hong Kong’s Ocean Park is seeking Expressions of Interest for the total revamp of its F&B and retail point-of-sale systems right across the park.
F&B and retail are being treated as two separate tenders. Both documents are asking for a total solution from concept to deployment, from infrastructure to application.
The current systems have been in place since 2009. There are around 60 F&B POS endpoints in the park and around 75 retail endpoints.
The park is seeking responses from specialist companies with over ten years professional experience in providing similar solutions.
According to the tender documents, the successful applicant/s will be industry leaders capable of supplying three major services to the Ocean Park, namely:
- Professional Consultancy
- Design and Build
- Maintenance and Support
Both systems will be expected to improve operational efficiency, enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth. They will also need to be future-proof to allow for further expansion.
The new Retail POS system should include offerings such as CRM, e-Coupons, mobile payments and business analytics.
The new F&B POS system should include wireless online ordering and payment, as well as operational services including a reservation system and price/inventory management.
Successful applicants will be shortlisted for inclusion on the tender list.
