Innovator in adventure attractions, Extreme Engineering, has teamed up with leading amusement ride manufacturer, S&S Sansei Technologies, to distribute the award-winning Cloud Coaster.
Both companies will be unveiling the upgraded 2017 version of the ride at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Florida next month.
Jeff Wilson, CEO of Extreme Engineering, described the new agreement as a ‘valuable and rewarding partnership’:
“Extreme Engineering is constantly looking for new ways to connect to our customers and riders to share our exciting and innovative designs, ” he said. “Partnering with S&S Sansei Technologies opens many doors to new segments of satisfied customers and exhilarated riders.”
Designed to appeal to all ages, the Cloud Coaster is a part zip-line, part flying coaster thrill ride. Its unique custom lift system raises riders slowly, simulating the traditional ‘butterflies in stomach’ feeling at the start of a large roller coaster, before riders experience the triple sensation of flying, zip-lining and rocketing up and down.
The 2017 track design features a new tandem cart system to increase ride capacity and allow guests to enjoy the ride together.
Visitors to the IAAPA Expo will be able to see The Cloud Coaster, along with Extreme Engineering’s installation and product upgrades for 2017, at Booth #3265 and at the S&S Sansei Technologies Booth #2217.
A Press Conference will be held on Wed, Nov 16th, 3:50PM at Booth 3265.
The Cloud Coaster has been nominated for two awards in the Best Technology Applied and Best Major Theme Park Ride categories. The winners in all IAAPA Attractions Expo categories will be announced Tuesday, November 15th, 2016.
